AMDRAS is a national accreditation scheme that provides external recognition of your skills. AMDRAS aims to improve the quality and practice of mediation services nationally.
While accreditation is voluntary, employers and clients are increasingly seeking accredited mediators.
How to achieve accreditation
To achieve accreditation, you must successfully complete the:
- Certificate of training course (or equivalent training through another recognised training organisation)
- Certificate of assessment course which includes the accreditation assessment.
To ensure you are eligible to be re-accredited after 2 years, you will need to continually meet the AMDRAS practice requirements and continuing professional development (CPD) requirements.
The fee for 2 years’ accreditation is $130.00.
A minimum number of attendees is required to run training activities. We will close a course to registrations to meet these training needs. If the course you request is full, or closed, you can:
- apply for a different date
- be on a standby list
- request a refund which will take 5–7 working days.
You can request a refund up to 2 weeks before the course commencement date.
