There is no form to fill out.

Write to us at an OFT contact centre or by email to ilu@justice.qld.gov.au to request we:

  • change or remove your licence conditions
  • deactivate or reactivate your licence.

Include as much detail as possible, including your licence number.

Fees apply

When reactivating a licence you may also be required to pay a pro-rata renewal fee depending on whether the licence has previously been renewed as inactive and also a criminal check fee. You will be advised of the required fee by our office when you apply.

Fill out the Disclosure of beneficial interest to seller form (Form 10) and give this form to a seller if you have a beneficial interest in the sale, such as if the buyer is:

  • yourself
  • a member of your family
  • your business associates or employees
  • an executive officer of your corporation.

Penalties apply if you fail to disclose your interest.

This is a requirement of the Motor Dealers and Chattel Auctioneers Act 2014.

Lodge a trust account audit report

Lodge your audit report online. It must be prepared by a qualified auditor.

Open, close or change the name of a trust account

You can't apply online.

Fill out the Notification of opening, closing or change of name of trust account (Form 5) to tell us if you:

  • open a new account
  • change your account details
  • close your account.

This is a requirement of the Agents Financial Administration Act 2014.

Apply online to replace a licence or request an extract (copy).

Fees apply

An extract will show:

  • the name of each person who holds the licence
  • their registered business name (if any) and place of business
  • the status of their licence—current, expires, refused, cancelled or suspended
  • their licence number and class.

Other ways to apply

You can also contact us by post or email ilu@justice.qld.gov.au as soon as you notice that your licence is lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed.
